JOY IN ADVOCACY offers a variety of services to meet your family’s needs.
Educational Consulting
During this consultation we will discuss the needs of your family and your child. You will provide me with the history of your child’s education plan and address any concerns you may have. This consultation will allow me to gain the knowledge and understanding needed in order to best serve you, as well as determine if we are a good fit for your family. Please fill out the form below to give us a preliminary understanding of your family's needs.
Fee: Free/ up to 45 minutes.
Record Review and Coaching/Coordination
Our Education Record Review and Coaching service provides an analysis of your child's education history to ensure they are receiving the appropriate special education services they are entitled to. After an extensive review we can provide customized recommendations based on your child's unique needs. This service also includes, but is not limited to, phone consultations, preparation of written agendas to prepare for productive discussion, review of IEP drafts and additional educational progress documents prior to IEP meetings, drafting letters, and mediation and/or state complaint support. We will also provide you with the advocacy skills and guidance needed to effectively navigate the special education system. We work closely with you to develop effective interventions that meet your unique needs. With our expert coordination with providers, we ensure that you receive the best support possible.
Fee: $60 per hour
Meeting Attendance and Support
Our special education advocacy services cover all types of meetings, including Child Studies, Eligibility/Re-evaluations, 504 meetings, Annual IEP meetings, meetings, IEP amendment meetings, and manifestation determination meetings. We work diligently and are steadfast in providing parents with the support and guidance they need to ensure their child's education is a priority. And with virtual attendance available, we have never been more accessible.

Scholarships
The Advocate, LLC provides scholarship funds to assist families who are at or below the federal poverty level or have extenuating circumstances. We are committed to “leveling the playing field” for these children regardless of their family’s ability to pay for educational advocacy services, and therefore changing the trajectory of these children’s lives forevermore.
